Joletta was thrilled that her family flew in from everywhere! The surprise worked; what a sweet way for Doug and all of us to show Joletta that we love her!
This was the first time that the four generations were together.
Paul slept through the family photos, but he'd be about the size of Pebbles, the dog above my head.

Micah and Great-Grandpa Schweitzer started laughing together shortly after meeting each other! We narrowly escaped without Micah going home with Great-Grandpa to ride horses in North Dakota.
We also narrowly escaped without Paul going home to Hollywood with Great-aunt Cheryl, who was probably happier than anyone that it snowed ALL four days we were in PA.
Hooray for Great-uncle Jerry, who gave Grandpa Doug a break from reading books to Micah!
Paul was checking out Great-uncle Clyde, while Fran considered their German-shaped heads.
It was also Easter, so Micah had an egg hunt. In between numerous refrains of "Jesus Loves Me," and several hymns, he pretends to give sermons about mercy and no body in the tomb. These days, he is excited about learning and repeating a lot of Bible stories.
The next time Paul gets to "stand" with Auntrea, baby Jack will be in her arms instead of her belly! We are praying for his arrival into the world next month.Yesterday, I (Megan) took the boys to Northern Virginia for Lisa Owen's surprise 30th birthday party and we got to hang out with the sweet newlyweds, Brian and Heather Hart! I've gotten to share so much of life with Heather, so it is always a blessing to spend time with her.
As you can see, the boys shared my joy in goofing off with Heather!
