Soccer, Spanish, Send-off, Students, Summer and Samuel

 Paul shooting a soccer goal
Being a soccer mom is fun after-all!
Micah scoring a soccer goal. (He is the one in blue at the other end of the field.)
Yes! Believe it or not, but Anthony actually enjoyed coaching soccer (maybe it helps that he has been learning Spanish, thereby calling it "futbol.") Can you tell from the players' faces that they lost their last game by a lot?
The Milgens (or Tonlirs, if you prefer) love each other SO much!
 See?

 Grandma Bev's farm is spectacular!

It was super to get to catch up with my friend Megan and her sweet kids at my mom's place.

Our kind home group had a send-off for us.

Sam had a fever for our first two picnic parties of the summer.
Someone should poke holes in the top of a bottle and bottle-up the sweetness of a boy's first time catching fireflies.
Anthony and his M-cubed research students did great stuff this summer.
Sam's birthday included a sweet walk to the farmers' market.
Sam wanted a rainbow birthday, so we went to the rainbow park, too.
After we had packed away most of the books and toys, they boys still had fun building (and swimming.)

Sam and his friends (e.g. Cullen) can have adorable conversations.

Sam's birthday party was a success! I am so glad that we chose to have it at Kinetic Kids, since it was incredibly hot outside and we moved out of our house the next day.

Plus, it was so fun!

This was the best I could do for a picture of the five boys at our house. It was AWESOME to get to have time with Charlie, Joey and Sarah. I already miss them (and Scott)!!

Photo Dump

Enough of my friends have told me enough times that I should just do a couple of "photo dumps" to catch up on the blog before going to Mexico that I am finally doing it.
Micah and Paul both got to have treasured time alone with Grandma Bev on her farm this spring.
Plus, we had a nice visit with Great-Grandpa.
Micah and Paul both did great in their spring soccer season.

  More Home Group fun

(I hope that part of doing a "photo dump" is not requiring me to choose my favorite home group photo.)

Joletta helped us clean our garage to get it ready for renters.
We also had fun with end of school year celebrations for preschool

and home-school.
