Pre-Christmas "Bash"

On his way into the second try of this Christmas picture (I photo-shopped this one due to Paul's spit-up), Micah bashed his head on the coffee table. Jay, a friend of ours in our small group at church, is a doctor (the kind that can help people, in contrast to Dr. Tongen.) He was so nice to stitch up Micah's eyebrow and that night, instead of thanking God for the comfort measures of the day like a movie, pizza, and ice cream, Micah said he was thankful for Dr. Jay helping him.

Thankfully, Micah's best friend Paul lended a hand!
Christmastime in Virginia was not so much snowman weather as biking weather! Our neighbors Ruby and Olivia are overseas for the spring semester, so we'll miss them.

The Warne girls look ready to be babysitters, don't they?

Micah was so excited to open every present; he usually said "WOW," even when he thought he had unwrapped an empty box. The challenge was that he wanted to read each book right away, so thankfully kind people like Grandaddy humored him.
